Description: Knitting is fun, relaxing, and very satisfying, and it's not as difficult as you might think! This class is a guide to the basics and has everything you need to get started. We'll cover the following:


* Yarn (size, weight, fiber attributes, choosing appropriately)


* Needles (type, size, materials)


* Reading and understanding patterns


* Gauge and Tension


* Tying slip knots


* Casting on and casting off


* Knit stitch and purl stitch


Yarn (included in class price): One skein Berroco Vintage (worsted weight)


Needle (available for purchase in shop): Size US 8 needle


Skill Level: Absolute Beginner
