Description:  This is designed to be the first project for a brand-new knitter – you don’t need any experience to take this class.  Held over the course of three sessions, students master the knit stitch while they make a simple and cute roll brim hat.  


 Yarn (included in class price):  Worsted weight yarn, either one skein Berroco Vintage (wool/acrylic blend), Berroco Lanas (100% wool), or upgrade to Malabrigo Rios for $10 (merino wool). 


Needles (available for purchase in shop):  Size US 8 circular needle in 16-inch length, PLUS a set of US 8 double-pointed needles.


Skill Level:  Absolute Beginner Knitter (students will learn casting on, the knit stitch, circular knitting, and decreasing).
